Aosoth is a French black metal band from Paris, formed in 2002. Initially a side project of members from the band Antaeus, they released their self-titled debut album "Aosoth" in 2008, followed by "Ashes of Angels" in 2009. Their third album, "III: Violence & Variations," was released in 2011, and the fourth, "IV: An Arrow in Heart," in 2013. The band is known for its dissonant and aggressive sound, blending elements of black and death metal. Core members include vocalist MkM and guitarist BST.
