April Wine is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band achieved international success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits like "Just Between You and Me" and "Sign of the Gypsy Queen." Their 1981 album "The Nature of the Beast" achieved platinum status in the United States. Throughout their career, they released over 20 albums and sold more than 20 million records worldwide. The band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2009.
