Arcadi Volodos is a Russian pianist born in St. Petersburg in 1972. Initially studying voice and conducting, he shifted his focus to piano in 1987. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Galina Egiazarova, and later in Paris and Madrid. Volodos has performed with leading orchestras worldwide, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and New York Philharmonic. His repertoire encompasses works by composers such as Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Prokofiev, and Ravel. Notable recordings include "Volodos Plays Brahms" (2017) and "Volodos Plays Mompou" (2013), both of which have received international acclaim.
