Arctic Monkeys is a British rock band formed in 2002 in Sheffield. The original lineup consisted of Alex Turner (vocals, guitar), Jamie Cook (guitar), Andy Nicholson (bass guitar), and Matt Helders (drums). Nicholson left the band in 2006 and was replaced by Nick O'Malley. Their debut album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" (2006), became the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history. Other notable albums include "Favourite Worst Nightmare" (2007), "AM" (2013), and "The Car" (2022).
