Courtney Shanade Salter, known professionally as Ari Lennox, is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Washington, D.C. In 2015, she signed with Dreamville Records and released her debut album, "Shea Butter Baby," in 2019, featuring the platinum-certified title track with J. Cole. In 2021, she released the single "Pressure," which became her first solo hit on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2022, she released her second album, "Age/Sex/Location." In April 2025, she departed from Dreamville Records and continues her collaboration with Interscope Records.
