The Armida Quartett is a German string quartet founded in Berlin in 2006. Its members are Martin Funda (violin), Johanna Staemmler (violin), Teresa Schwamm (viola), and Peter-Philipp Staemmler (cello). The quartet won first prize at the ARD International Music Competition in 2012, leading to international recognition. Their discography includes recordings of works by Bartók, Ligeti, Mozart, and Beethoven. In 2022, they received the Opus Klassik award for the fourth volume of their recording of Mozart's string quartets. The quartet regularly performs at major festivals and concert halls worldwide.
