Arthur Rubinstein was a Polish-American pianist, regarded as one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century. Born in 1887 in Łódź, Poland, he performed publicly for eight decades. He was renowned for his interpretations of works by composers such as Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart. Throughout his career, he made over 200 recordings and received several awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1976. He passed away in 1982 at the age of 95.
