Articolo 31 is an Italian hip-hop duo formed in Milan in 1990 by rapper J-Ax (Alessandro Aleotti) and DJ Jad (Vito Luca Perrini). They are known for blending hip-hop, funk, pop, and traditional Italian musical elements. Their second album, 'Messa di vespiri' (1994), features the hit 'Ohi Maria', which won them the Un disco per l'estate festival in 1995. In 1996, they released 'Così com'è', one of the best-selling hip-hop albums in Italy. After a hiatus in 2006, they reunited in 2018 and released the album 'Protomaranza' in 2024.
