Artifacts was a hip-hop group from Newark, New Jersey, consisting of El Da Sensei and Tame One. The group was active from 1988 to 1998 and later from 2009 to 2022. Their debut album, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place," was released on October 25, 1994, reaching number 137 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured singles like "Wrong Side of da Tracks" and "C'mon wit da Git Down." Their second album, "That's Them," was released in 1997. In 2022, they released their final album, "No Expiration Date," in collaboration with producer Buckwild. Tame One passed away on November 5, 2022.
