Asgard was a three-piece proto-progressive rock band from Coventry, United Kingdom. Their music was influenced by early Pink Floyd and The Velvet Underground, later becoming more experimental. In 1970, they recorded three tracks on a one-sided 12-inch acetate, featuring "Trivialities," "Month," and "Sunrise." These recordings were reissued in 2025 under the title "Trivialities" through Rise Above Relics. The band was known for their contribution to early progressive rock, and their music reflected the experimental nature of the genre at the time.
