Astrïd is a French musical group formed in 1997 by Cyril Secq and Yvan Ros as a guitar/drums duo. They were later joined by violinist Vanina Andreani in 1998 and clarinetist Guillaume Wickel in 2005. Their music is influenced by improvised music, folk, and jazz from the seventies, as well as classical and contemporary composers from Ravel to Arvo Pärt. In 2014, they collaborated with Sylvain Chauveau on the album "Butterfly in the Snowfall." In 2018, they released the album "Minimal Guitar." The group hails from Nantes, France.
