Atrocity is a German metal band from Ludwigsburg, formed in 1985. Initially starting as a grindcore band under the name Instigators, they later transitioned to death metal. Their debut album, "Hallucinations," was released in 1990 and conceptually focused on drug addiction. In 1994, they released "Blut," inspired by the film "Bram Stoker's Dracula." Throughout their career, they have experimented with various genres, including gothic metal and industrial metal. In 2023, they released "Okkult III," concluding their "Okkult" trilogy.
