Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in 2001 in Glendale, California. The band consisted of Soundgarden's lead singer and guitarist Chris Cornell, along with Rage Against the Machine members: guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk. During their career, they released three studio albums: "Audioslave" (2002), "Out of Exile" (2005), and "Revelations" (2006). Their music blended elements of hard rock and alternative metal. In 2005, they became the first American rock band to perform an open-air concert in Cuba. The band disbanded in 2007 following Cornell's departure.
