Axelle Red, born Fabienne Demal, is a Belgian singer-songwriter known for her unique blend of pop and soul music. Her second album, "À tâtons," released in 1996 and recorded in Nashville with musicians from Stax Records, sold over one million copies in Europe. Notable tracks include "Sensualité" and "Rester femme." Since 1997, Axelle Red has served as a UNICEF ambassador, participating in campaigns against female genital mutilation and child marriages in Niger.
