Aynsley Dunbar is a British drummer known for his work with artists such as John Mayall, Frank Zappa, and David Bowie. In 1968, he formed the Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, releasing four albums. In 1971, he released "Blue Whale," characterized by a fusion of progressive rock and psychedelia. Dunbar was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
