Badge Epoch is the solo project of Canadian musician Maximilian "Twig" Turnbull, also known from the band Badge Époque Ensemble. The album "Furry Worried Ape," scheduled for release on December 5, 2025, under Telephone Explosion Records, is his second album. This album comprises six tracks and was produced and mixed by Turnbull at his home studio, Clyde's Temple. Musically, the album navigates between jazz, funk, and electronic music, utilizing MIDI programming and samples from previous Badge Époque Ensemble recordings. The album is influenced by the productions of the Mizell Brothers and the symphonic jazz-funk of Love Unlimited.
