Bal-Sagoth is a symphonic black metal band from Sheffield, England, formed in 1993. The name is inspired by Robert E. Howard's short story "The Gods of Bal-Sagoth." The original lineup included Byron Roberts (vocals), Chris Maudling (guitar), Jonny Maudling (drums and keyboards), Jason Porter (bass), and Vincent Crabtree (keyboards). The band released six albums: "A Black Moon Broods Over Lemuria" (1995), "Starfire Burning Upon the Ice-Veiled Throne of Ultima Thule" (1996), "Battle Magic" (1998), "The Power Cosmic" (1999), "Atlantis Ascendant" (2001), and "The Chthonic Chronicles" (2006). Their music combines elements of black metal with symphonic arrangements and lyrics inspired by fantasy literature. The products available from the artist Bal-Sagoth include Nažehlovačka, Plagát.
