Barbatuques is a Brazilian body percussion group founded in 1995 by Fernando Barba in São Paulo. The ensemble uses the human body as a musical instrument, combining claps, chest thumps, finger snaps, and vocals to create rhythms and melodies. Notable albums include "Corpo do Som" (2002), "O Seguinte é Esse" (2005), and "Ayú" (2015). Barbatuques has performed in over 30 countries and collaborated with artists such as Stênio Mendes, Badi Assad, and Naná Vasconcelos.
