The Bartholdy Quintet is a German chamber ensemble specializing in the performance of classical music, particularly string quintets. Other members include violist Barbara Westphal, who won a prize at the Munich Competition in 1983. The ensemble has released several albums, including "String Quintets" and "Bruckner: String Quintets". Their repertoire features works by composers such as Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Anton Bruckner, and Johannes Brahms.
