The Bay City Rollers are a Scottish pop rock band that achieved worldwide popularity in the 1970s. Originally known as The Saxons, the group changed their name to Bay City Rollers and released their debut album "Rollin'" in 1974, which topped the UK Albums Chart. Their follow-up album, "Once Upon a Star" (1975), also debuted at number one. Among their most notable hits are "Saturday Night," "Money Honey," and "I Only Want to Be with You." The band is recognized for their pop, glam rock, and pop rock style. Throughout their career, they sold approximately 5 million albums and were referred to as the "tartan teen sensations" from Edinburgh.
