Benjamin Boone is an American saxophonist and composer who released the album "Joy" in 2020 in collaboration with The Ghana Jazz Collective. The album features four original compositions by Boone, as well as interpretations of "Maiden Voyage" by Herbie Hancock and "Curtain of Light" by Jonovan Cooper. The recording took place in Accra, Ghana, during Boone's tenure as a Fulbright Scholar. The album was released under the Origin Records label.
