Bernard Haitink was a Dutch conductor renowned for his work with the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam, where he served as chief conductor from 1961 to 1988. Throughout his career, he also led the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
