Lamont Coleman, known as Big L, was an American rapper from Harlem, New York. In 1995, he released his debut album "Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous" under Columbia Records. He was a member of the Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.) and founder of the group Children of the Corn. His second album, "The Big Picture," was posthumously released in 2000. Big L was known for his lyrics and contributed to the development of the horrorcore genre. He collaborated with artists such as Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, and Tupac Shakur. He died in 1999.
