Blood From the Soul is an industrial metal supergroup formed by Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury. Their debut album, "To Spite the Gland That Breeds," was released in 1993 and featured collaboration with Lou Koller of Sick of It All. In 2020, Embury revived the project with a new lineup: Jacob Bannon (Converge) on vocals, Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) on drums, and Jesper Liveröd (Nasum) on bass. That same year, they released the album "DSM-5" under the Deathwish Inc. label. Musically, they blend industrial metal with hardcore punk, drawing influence from bands like Godflesh and Fear Factory.
