Blood Monolith is a death metal band composed of members from Nails, Undeath, Ulthar, and Genocide Pact. Formed in 2023 under the leadership of guitarist and vocalist Shelby Lermo (Nails, Ulthar) after his departure from Vastum, the aim was to create music that is even uglier, weirder, and more aggressive. Their debut album, "The Calling of Fire," was released on May 16, 2025, under the Profound Lore Records label. The album features tracks such as "Trepanation Worm" and "Prayer To Crom."
