Bloodywood is an Indian heavy metal band from New Delhi, formed in 2016. Initially starting as a parody band that uploaded metal covers of pop songs on YouTube, they later began creating original music. Their debut album, 'Rakshak,' was released in 2022, followed by their second album, 'Nu Delhi,' in March 2025. The band is known for its unique fusion of Indian folk instruments with metal, creating a distinctive sound. Their music combines nu metal, folk metal, and rap metal, with lyrics in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Bloodywood became the first Indian metal band to chart on Billboard.
