Blue Angel was an American band from New York City, active between 1979 and 1982. The group consisted of Cyndi Lauper (vocals), John Turi (keyboards, saxophone), Arthur "Rockin' A" Neilson (guitar), Lee Brovitz (bass guitar), and Johnny Morelli (drums). In 1980, they released their only album, "Blue Angel," under Polydor Records. The album featured tracks like "I'm Gonna Be Strong" and "Maybe He'll Know."
