Blue Magic is an American soul group from Philadelphia, formed in 1973. The original lineup consisted of Ted Mills, Vernon Sawyer, Wendell Sawyer, Keith Beaton, and Richard Pratt. Their debut album, "Blue Magic," featured the hit "Sideshow," which topped the R&B charts and reached the top ten on the pop charts. Other successful tracks include "Three Ring Circus" and "Stop to Start." The group is known for their smooth vocals and rich harmonies, characteristic of the Philadelphia soul sound. Throughout the 1970s, they released several albums and remained a significant part of the R&B scene.
