Bob Gallion was an American country singer and songwriter active between 1958 and 1973. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, he began his career as a session guitarist before joining Stoney Cooper and Wilma Lee Cooper's band. In the 1950s, he recorded for MGM Records, releasing singles like "That's What I Tell My Heart" and "You Take the Table and I'll Take the Chairs." In 1960, he moved to Hickory Records, achieving success with hits such as "Loving You (Was Worth This Broken Heart)" and "Wall to Wall Love," which reached number 5 on the charts in 1962. Throughout his career, he collaborated with Pati Powell and performed at the WWVA Jamboree. After retiring from performing, he worked at a booking agency.
