Bob & Marcia were a Jamaican vocal duo consisting of Bob Andy and Marcia Griffiths. In 1970, they reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart with "Young, Gifted and Black". The following year, they released "Pied Piper", which peaked at number 11. Over a period of less than 18 months, these two releases spent a total of 25 weeks on the UK chart. They discontinued their partnership in the mid-1970s, both feeling that it was not bringing them adequate financial reward.
