Bobby Jaspar was a Belgian jazz saxophonist, flautist, and composer known for his contributions to cool jazz and hard bop. Born in Liège, Belgium, he began playing piano and clarinet at a young age, later focusing on tenor saxophone and flute. In the 1950s, he moved to Paris, collaborating with leading musicians of the era. In 1956, he relocated to the United States, recording with artists such as Herbie Mann and J. J. Johnson.
