Boiler Room is an American nu metal band from New York City, formed in 1996. The original lineup included vocalist Chris Lino, guitarist Joey Barracato, bassist James Meselsohn, and drummer Mike Meselsohn. They released their self-titled debut album in 1996. After Barracato's departure in 1998, Rob Caggiano joined as guitarist. In 2000, the band released "Can't Breathe" under Roadrunner Records. Following their disbandment in 2001, members pursued various projects. In 2021, Lino announced the band's reformation with a new lineup, leading to the release of "Rectify" in 2025.
