Bombay was a Dutch indie rock band from Amsterdam and The Hague, active between 2008 and 2016. Originally known as Bombay Show Pig, the band began as a trio with Mathias Janmaat (guitar, vocals), Linda van Leeuwen (drums, vocals), and Christian Kratzsch (vocals). After Kratzsch's departure, Janmaat and Van Leeuwen continued as a duo, releasing their debut album "Vulture / Provider" in 2012. In 2014, bassist Gijs Loots joined the band, and Van Leeuwen was replaced by Lisa Ann Jonker on drums. Their second album, "Show Your Teeth," was released in 2016. The band was known for their energetic live performances and played at festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Reeperbahn, and The Great Escape. Bombay disbanded in December 2016.
