Omara "Bombino" Moctar is a Nigerien guitarist and singer known for his unique style that blends traditional Tuareg music with modern influences. His 2011 album "Agadez" gained international recognition, followed by "Nomad" in 2013, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. In 2018, he released "Deran," which was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best World Music Album category, making him the first Nigerien artist to receive such a nomination.
