Bomfunk MC's is a Finnish hip-hop group formed in 1998. The original lineup consisted of MC Raymond Ebanks (B.O.W.) and DJ Ismo Lappalainen (DJ Gismo). Their 1999 debut album, "In Stereo," features the hit "Freestyler," which reached number one in 11 countries. In 2000, they won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Nordic Act. After their second album, "Burnin' Sneakers," in 2002, the group disbanded in 2005. In 2019, the original members reunited and released new tracks "Can't Runaway" and "Mic Drop."
