Bria Skonberg is a Canadian jazz trumpeter and vocalist from Chilliwack, British Columbia. She studied at Capilano University in Vancouver and moved to New York in 2010. She has released several albums, including "Bria" (2016), which won the Juno Award for Best Vocal Jazz Album, "With a Twist" (2017), and "Nothing Never Happens" (2019). Her music is influenced by traditional New Orleans jazz, swing, and bossa nova. She has collaborated with artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Howard Alden.
