cd - BRITISH SEA POWER
Sea Power, formerly known as British Sea Power, is an English rock band formed in 2000 in Reading. The original lineup included Yan Scott Wilkinson (vocals, guitar), Neil Hamilton Wilkinson (bass guitar, vocals), Martin Noble (guitar), and Matthew Wood (drums). Later additions were Phil Sumner (cornet, keyboards) and Abi Fry (viola). The band is known for their indie rock style incorporating elements of post-punk and post-rock. Notable albums include "The Decline of British Sea Power" (2003), "Do You Like Rock Music?" (2008), and "Everything Was Forever" (2022). In 2019, they composed the soundtrack for the video game "Disco Elysium," which earned them the BAFTA award for Best Music in 2020. In 2021, they changed their name to Sea Power to distance themselves from "isolationist, antagonistic nationalism." The products available from the artist BRITISH SEA POWER include vinyls.
