Bruce Rowland is an Australian composer renowned for his film scores. His most notable works include the music for "The Man from Snowy River" (1982) and "Phar Lap" (1983). He also composed the score for the television series "All the Rivers Run" (1983/1990) and the film "Zeus and Roxanne" (1997). In 2000, Rowland conducted a special Olympics version of the main theme from "The Man from Snowy River" during the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Sydney.
