Bruce Woolley & the Camera Club was a British new wave band formed in 1979. The group consisted of Bruce Woolley (vocals), Dave Birch (guitar), Thomas Dolby (keyboards), Matthew Seligman (bass), and Rod Johnson (drums). They released their debut album 'English Garden' in 1979, which included the original versions of 'Video Killed the Radio Star' and 'Clean Clean', both co-written by Woolley with Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes. These songs later became hits for The Buggles. The band disbanded after two years when CBS Records refused to release their second album.
