Bruno Helstroffer is a French baroque guitarist and theorbist known for his interpretation of historical music. In 2023, he released the album "L'âme-son," the first recording dedicated to the music of Henry Grenerin, a 17th-century French composer. The album features four suites from Grenerin's 1680 "Livre de guitarre," as well as works by Antoine Boësset and Jean de Cambefort. Helstroffer collaborated with soprano Chantal Santon Jeffery on this project. The recording was made in April 2023 at Château du Boschet in France and released under the Alpha label.
