Burial Beyond The Sea is an epic doom and spoken word project from Kampen, Netherlands. The duo consists of Tjeerd de Jong (Phantom Druid) and Shane Beck (The Last American Poet). Their debut album, "Smoldering Remains," was released on May 2, 2024, through Off The Record Label. The album features eight tracks that blend doom metal with spoken word elements. Recording took place at Demon Lodge Studio in Kampen, with mastering by Berthus Westerhuis. The album's cover art was created by Manolis Fasoulakis.
