Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in 1976 in Manchester by Howard Devoto and Pete Shelley. They are known for their catchy melodies and energetic performances. Their most notable albums include "Another Music in a Different Kitchen" (1978), "Love Bites" (1978), and "A Different Kind of Tension" (1979). Their single "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've?)" reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart in October 1978. The band disbanded in 1981 but reunited in 1989, continuing to create and perform music. Following Pete Shelley's death in 2018, the band continues under the leadership of Steve Diggle.
