Bye-Ya! is a Dutch jazz ensemble founded in 1999 by Jens Kerkhoff and Mick Paauwe with the aim of blending jazz with Latin American and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Their debut album, "Bye-Ya! The Latin Jazz Quintet," was released in 2001, followed by "Dos" in 2003 and "Further Arrivals" in 2004. The group is known for its unique sound that combines complex harmonic accompaniments with inspired improvisations. Members include Jarmo Hoogendijk (trumpet), Jens Kerkhoff (percussion), Liber Torriente (drums), Mick Paauwe (baby bass), and Randal Corsen (piano).
