Capella de la Torre is a German early music ensemble founded in 2005 by oboist and shawm specialist Katharina Bäuml in Berlin. The ensemble focuses on music from the 14th to the 17th centuries, utilizing historical wind instruments. In 2016, they received the ECHO Klassik award for their album "Water Music: Tales of Nymphs and Sirens," and in 2017, they were awarded again for "Da Pacem" in collaboration with the RIAS Kammerchor. Their discography includes over 30 recordings, such as "Una serata venexiana" and "Monteverdi: Memories." The ensemble is known for its emphasis on historical research and work with original sources.
