Description

In July 1973, Carole King performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, marking her first concert outside the USA. This performance captures her transition from intimate solo performances to a full-bodied sound with an 11-piece band. The set begins with solo renditions of tracks from "Tapestry," such as "I Feel the Earth Move" and "It's Too Late," and progresses to dynamic performances of songs from her then-new album "Fantasy." This concert recording was released on June 14, 2019, as a DVD and CD set titled "Live at Montreux 1973."
