Cassius was a French electronic music duo composed of Philippe Zdar and Boombass. Formed in 1988, they were significant figures in the 1990s "French touch" movement. Their 1999 debut album, "1999," featured hits like "Cassius 1999" and "Feeling for You." Subsequent albums include "Au Rêve" (2002), "15 Again" (2006), "Ibifornia" (2016), and "Dreems" (2019). Cassius collaborated with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Cat Power, and Mike D. The duo's activity ended following Philippe Zdar's tragic death in 2019.
