Category 7 is an American heavy metal supergroup formed in 2023. The band consists of vocalist John Bush (Armored Saint, ex-Anthrax), guitarists Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head) and Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob), bassist Jack Gibson (Exodus), and drummer Jason Bittner (Overkill, Shadows Fall). Their self-titled debut album, "Category 7," was released on July 26, 2024, under Metal Blade Records. The album's lead single, "In Stitches," was followed by a music video for the track "Mousetrap."
