Catherine Wheel was an English alternative rock band from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, active from 1990 to 2000. The band released five studio albums, with their debut album, "Ferment" (1992), featuring the single "Black Metallic". Their follow-up album, "Chrome" (1993), included the single "Crank", which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. The 1995 album "Happy Days" featured the track "Judy Staring at the Sun" with guest vocals by Tanya Donelly.
