Cave In is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts. Their 1998 debut album, "Until Your Heart Stops," showcased metalcore and hardcore punk influences. In 2000, they released "Jupiter," marking a shift towards alternative and progressive rock. The 2003 album "Antenna" was released under RCA Records and enabled them to perform on the Lollapalooza tour. After departing from RCA, they returned to Hydra Head Records and released "Perfect Pitch Black" in 2005. Following the death of bassist Caleb Scofield in 2018, they released "Final Transmission" in 2019. In 2022, they released "Heavy Pendulum" under Relapse Records.
