'A Toda Cuba Le Gusta' is the debut album by the Afro-Cuban All Stars, recorded at Havana's legendary EGREM studios in 1996. This album celebrates Cuba's rich musical heritage, blending styles such as guajira, son montuno, danzón, and mozambique. Under the direction of Juan de Marcos González, the recording features veterans of the Cuban music scene, including Rubén González on piano and Manuel 'Puntillita' Licea as lead vocalist. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Tropical Latin Performance category and is considered a pivotal contribution to the revival of traditional Cuban music on the international stage.
